Fort Norfolk Medical and Fort Norfolk Plaza was founded by Dr. Keith Newby, a prominent cardiologist for over ten years within the local community. The vision was to bring world-class physicians together with a dedication to medical excellence all within one facility. As of September 2010 the vision was made a tremendous reality. Established in the historic Fort Norfolk area of downtown Norfolk now stands a beacon and an example of improved community health care.

Fort Norfolk Medical is located in a new multi-level medical facility Fort Norfolk Plaza that is conveniently located at the EVMC/Fort Norfolk Light Rail Stop at 301 Riverview Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23510.

At Fort Norfolk Medical we bring quality patient care through our doctors and our various medical departments all under one roof. Our medical facility is comprised of four target departments that consist of Cardiology, Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Diagnostic Testing.
